¶
Make sure you have the parts in the photo.

Step 2 ¶
Let's start by adding the Electrolytic Capacitors. Note that they are polarized - the lead closest to the stripe marked on the can is negative, the other lead is positive
The Electrolytic Capacitors go at C1 and C3. Note that the stripe side is opposite the + marks.
The Ceramic Capacitor goes at C2, it isn't polarized, so it doesn't matter which way it goes in.

Step 3 ¶
The Voltage Regulator goes in as shown on the photo.

Step 4 ¶
The power connectors go in as shown on the photo.
An easy way to solder in the barrel connector is to solder down one of the leads from the top - that way when you flip the board over, it won't fall out.

Step 5 ¶
The Reset Switch goes in as show in the photo. Make sure to push the reset switch all the way flush with the board before soldering.

Step 6 ¶
The QuickStart board connects under the Quick Adapter Module, so you'll need to add pin headers to the Quick Adapter pointing down. The easiest way to do this is with a breadboard. First take your 40 pin header strip and cut it in half with your diagonal cutters. Then place the two strips next to each other in a breadboard, as shown in the photo.
Place the Quick Adapter board on top of the pin headers and solder them together.
Now, just pull the Quick Adapter Module off the breadboard. The final step is to add the pin sockets to the outside connectors - they'll point up, so you can drop in any other Propeller Platform module on top.
